My name is Lariya “LaLa” Lowry, the heart behind LaLaLand. With a background in cosmetology and a career focused on barbering, I’ve spent years honing my craft and building meaningful connections with clients. Originally from Peoria, Illinois, I moved here for college over 20 years ago and loved it so much that I made it home.
What I enjoy most about my profession, beyond delivering precise cuts and helping people feel their best, is the opportunity to meet new people, share conversations, and create genuine moments of joy. Laughter has always been an important part of who I am, and I strive to bring that same positivity to every client who sits in my chair.
My greatest joy in life is being a mother to my daughter, and she continues to inspire me every day. I truly love what I do, and I look forward to welcoming you to LaLaLand—where you’ll leave not only with a great haircut, but also with a brighter day.
