Dani Alston
Dani has been working her magic with hair since 2005. After immigrating to the U.S.A. from Germany in 2001, she worked a few different jobs until she found her passion in doing hair. Dani graduated from the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill in 2005. Mitchell’s at Southpoint was where her career got started until she opened her first salon suite in Morrisville. She found her home at WanderLux in Durham in early 2018. Dani loves to work with all types of hair, from straight to curly and from blonde to black. Her attention to detail shows in her precision haircuts and highlights. She also enjoys to balayage hair and get creative with color. Some of her favorite colors to do are bright vivids (aka fantasy colors). Dani enjoys being challenged and learning new techniques and styles.
